Behind the "Blue Line" is our reusable range "Made in Germany".
Our Blue Line range consists of several reusable products, they are 100% recyclable, dishwasher-safe, free of pollutants, phthalates & BPA and food compliant [EU-VO 10 / 2011].
Inhouse Recycling
And as almost all our products must comply with the statutory provisions for direct food contact, we are not allowed to purchase additional recycled content from external suppliers; because we cannot receive a declaration of clearance for their substances.
This is why we exclusively supply our own reprocessed material. Additionally, our products containing recycled material are 100% recyclable as well.
Stop Disposable Products
Plastic has once been the epitome of modernism but nowadays it is considered waste. And yet plastic could help solving many ecological problems, the FAZ wrote on October 19th 2019: „Plastic had created many beautiful objects; and no one could even consider dumping the Plexiglas-roof of the Olympia stadium in Munich, Charles and Ray Eames Fiberglass Chair, or Mascots Acetate Glasses ... “
That is exactly the point: important is the responsible use of this versatile and safe material. Therefore, our product range does NOT include any disposable articles. We only offer reusable products, which if used as intended - have an almost unlimited service life and are 100% recyclable.
Reducing CO² Emissions
The cycle of a long product use and its recycling has thus been completed. The impacts of climate change affect us all. Yet the production of our recyclable and reusable articles will help preventing a further increase of co2 emissions. Nonetheless, the consumer is still responsible for accurately disposing the product as on its own no plastic ends up in the ocean. Here and now we are all asked to make sure that life on earth is still worthwhile for future generations.
